Zona de Azar Colombia – ORYX Gaming Moves Into Colombia with Wplay Partnership

Colombia.- October 3rd 2018 www.zonadeazar.com Casino games developer ORYX Gaming has agreed a content partnership with Wplay.co to make its first move into the regulated Colombian iGaming market.

The deal will see ORYX’s full portfolio of casino and slot games launched for Wplay, alongside third party games from Gamomat and Amatic.

Wplay, which is owned by Colombian electronic gaming machine manufacturer Aquila Global Group, was the first operator to secure a licence in the market in June 2017.

ORXY chief executive Matevz Mazij said that the supplier had targeted expansion in Colombia in its strategy for 2018 and 2019, and hailed the Wplay deal as “excellent news” for his company.

“Colombian regulation favours a multi-channel operation of online gaming and our partnership allows them to greatly benefit from our aggregator platform,” he added.

Wplay chief executive Julio César Tamayo Betancur added: “Wplay members expect the very best user experience on the market and that foundation is built on pure entertainment.

“ORYX believes in the same principles and that is hugely important to us. ORYX’s casino games portfolio will help us increase our reach and expand our local market.”
