Brazil Maintains Suspension of Only Three Betting Companies

Brazil.-  03 June 2025 www.zonadeazar.com  Last Friday (May 30), Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA/MF) suspended 11 betting companies and 29 authorized sites for failing to submit their mandatory cybersecurity evaluation reports.

Some companies, including Flamengo’s sponsor PixBet, quickly obtained court injunctions or regularized their documents, reducing the suspended list to just three companies as of Monday (June 2).

These include Bell Ventures Digital Ltda, Betesporte Apostas On Line Ltda, and Sortenabet Gaming Brasil S.A. The measure aims to protect bettors, prevent money laundering, and ensure tax collection. Companies failing to comply face daily fines of R$40,000.
