Russia.- March 21th 2019 www.zonadeazar.com The PokerStars-sponsored European Poker Tour (EPT) kicks off the new season with a 10-day festival, running March 20-29, 2019 in the spectacular Sochi Casino and Resort, located in Krasnaya Polyana, Russia.

Following its debut in 2017, Sochi has become a regular stop on the PokerStars-sponsored live tournament circuit, featuring both the EPT Main tour as well as the EPT Open. The tournament schedule has been made accessible to players of all calibres from amateurs to professionals with a wide range of entry fees. PokerStars continues to provide a variety of buy-ins at EPT Sochi 2019, which boasts 23 events including the marquee RUB 191,800 (approximately $2,980) EPT Main Event.

PokerStars TV Cards-Up Broadcast

PokerStars TV will bring a four-day broadcast from the EPT Sochi Main Event, with the action starting on Day 2 (March 26). The live streaming will continue from then to the final table, culminating with the winner’s ceremony on March 29. The streams will be available in the English and Russian languages across multiple platforms such as the PokerStars.tv website, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. All televised tables will feature cards-up broadcasting, leaving the action subject to a 30-minute security delay. Please see below for the schedule:

Activities Away From the Felt

Along with the busy action at the tables, which includes free players’ merchandise for all Main Event participants, EPT Sochi 2019 offers a host of activities away from the poker tables. These include night skiing and snowboarding as well as a Bowling Competition with free soft drinks and snacks (March 26, from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. local time). The attendees can also test their brains in the ‘Doctor Frankenstein’ Escape Room (time slots can be booked at the Welcome Desk). Additionally, the unmissable Player Party will be held on March 23, featuring Russian singer Elena Temnikova. Live Band Show starts at 11 p.m., with open bar for EPT players from 10 p.m. local time.
