Exclusive Interview with Helena Lima, Sales Executive at the “Brazilian Lounge”

With a model that combines strategic visibility, affordable costs, and high-level networking, the Brazilian Lounge has established itself as a springboard for brands looking to expand beyond borders. In this exclusive interview from BiS SiGMA Americas, Helena shares details about the project’s growth, new initiatives in Latin America, and the multiple exposure opportunities they offer through magazines, events, and podcasts.

Good afternoon, how are you? We are here at BiS SiGMA Americas with Helena Lima, who is the Sales Executive for the Brazilian Lounge. We are here in the Latam Lounge and we are going to interview her.

First of all, Helena, if you could define the Brazilian Lounge so that the audience understands what we are talking about.

Yes, of course, Maia. It’s always a pleasure to talk to Zona de Azar. The Brazilian Lounge is a solution center for Brazilian companies to showcase their brand abroad.

The goal of creating a lounge for this type of connection is that it doesn’t cost as much as setting up a booth.

This initiative has been running for over four years, under the direction of Alessandro Valente.

It started at BiS SiGMA four years ago, and now we have been expanding and growing even more and increasing the presence of the Brazilian Lounge at international trade shows.

Today we already have a calendar of four international trade shows throughout the year, and today we are here at the Latam Lounge, which is a new initiative we launched here at BiS to bring to Latin American countries, such as Colombia and Chile, with the same goal of having a lounge where partners can sponsor and make connections and network.

Perfect. And what advertising formats are available in Brazilian Lounge magazine, which is this one, to maximize the visibility of Brazilian companies?

Our interview is published at every event, at every major event we attend. The first edition was ICE and SBC Rio. This second edition is a very special edition for us, which is BiS. And we are also going to take it to SBC Miami. The formats are full page, double page, there are many articles… There is everything related to the industry, a lot of information, people, politicians too. Always related to and providing information about the industry, our industry here in Bets.

And what are the advertising spaces like at events such as SiGMA and ICE? Are they structured to maximize the visibility of Brazilian companies?

The aim of the show is for these companies to establish contacts with others, but with the aim of making them bigger and better known abroad. Because sometimes the company is already established here, it already has a large audience here, but operators or platforms from abroad don’t know about it. So that’s the goal of Brazilian companies that already operate here. They are also regulated.

And are there advertising packages that combine presence in the magazine, on the podcast, and at events? What advantages do they offer companies?

Yes, yes, we have packages, it’s all included, we’re talking about the magazine, the stand, and the podcast. With this whole package, the person will get, the company will get a good discount, a big discount, and if the person signs up for two events, we give a progressive discount.

And then, along with that, there is integration with the magazine and a mention on our Brazilian Lounge podcast, which is available on YouTube, Amazon Music, and Spotify.

What is the process for a company to purchase advertising space in the magazine or at events, and what kind of customization is offered?
