Brazil.- May 28 2025 www.zonadeazar.com The Brazilian team FURIA made history by winning the ESL Impact Season 7, the world championship for female Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams, last Sunday (May 25). This landmark victory marks the first time a Brazilian women’s team has secured a global title in a Valve-developed CS2 tournament.
Led by seasoned players gabs, bizinha, izaa, kaahSENSEI, and Argentine lulitenz, FURIA defeated the North American squad Supernova Comets by 2 maps to 1. With this triumph, the team took home the $50,000 prize (around R$284,630).
Previously, FURIA had finished second in the ESL Impact in November and had similar runner-up finishes in Seasons 1, 2, and at the Valencia international event.
The tournament took place in Dallas, Texas, with eight elite teams, including fellow Brazilian team MIBR, which finished in 8th place. The participants were selected based on the HLTV global rankings.

With map scores of 7–4, 7–3, and 7–3 on Covil, Bank, and Café Dostoyevsky, FURIA earned a prize of $170,000 (approximately R$1 million). This was the squad’s first title since the roster change and adds to their 2024 Six Invitational win.
The R6 Reload event, held from May 10, brought together the top 20 teams worldwide, including five from Brazil: FaZe Clan, w7m, LOUD, FURIA, and Team Liquid.
