The club spent 80 days without a main sponsor since its contract with Pixbet ended in January.
The decision was made because the amount received was less than expected. With the new agreement, the club will receive double the previous amount, between 40 and 45 million reais annually, with goals and bonuses included.
Betano targeted Vasco after ending his contract with Fluminense. This represents a huge financial boost and increases the club’s brand value. Additionally, Vasco is seeking a more competitive participation in this year’s Brasileirão Serie A, after struggling to avoid relegation in 2023.
