There are 134 players left in contention for the title and €500,800 first prize. Day 3 will continue tomorrow at noon, with five 90 minutes scheduled for the day. PokerStars TV cameras will again be monitoring the action for the whole session. You can watch the live stream at http://www.pokerstars.tv/en/tv/live/ [10].

Petrangelo has been in an incredible form since the start of the year. He’s aready raked in more than $2.5 million in 2017. Petrangelo’s heater started with a $740,032 payday for his runner-up finish in the PokerStars Championship Bahamas $25k High Roller. The American then stopped at Aussie Millions, adding three cashes worth nearly $800k. Those included a victory in the A$100k Challenge.

Petrangelo, who hails from Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, didn’t slow down when he arrived for PokerStars Championship Macau. He finished second in both HK$80k and HK$200k Events in Macau, and wrapped his brilliant performance with a fourth place finish in the HK$103k High Roller. In all, his cashes from PokerStars Championship Macau combined for more than $700k. He won the Player of the Championship leaderboard, albeit failing to win a trophy.

The Main Event chip leader has already banked a six-figure prize here at PokerStars Championship Monaco, taking €248,400 for fifth place in yesterday’s €50k Single-Day tournament. Petrangelo is bossing the Global Poker Index leaderboard.

However, there is a star-studded line-up on Petrangelo’s heels as Patrik Antonius (452,200), Faraz Jaka (416,500), Mark Teltscher (408,000), Stefan Schillhabel (402,000) Sebastian Malec (382,500), Andreas Klatt (375,000), Fabrice Soulier (364,500), Jeff Hakim (350,000), Dan Smith (333,000) and Manig Loeser (323,500) will all return to big stacks tomorrow.

Graziano was the last player who left the tournament empty-handed, bubbling just few hands before the end of the day. Nine players followed him to the rail before play was halted, all banking the €7,580 min-cash. Famous names amongst the late casualties included Victoria Coren Mitchell (135th), Ryan Franklin (136th), Byron Kaverman (140th), Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier (141st) and Peter Eichhardt (142nd).

Day 3 will commence at noon with Level 15: 2,000/4,000, ante 5,000.
