Brazil.- 06th March 2025 www.zonadeazar.com The SBC Summit Rio 2025 concluded successfully, consolidating its position as one of the main events for the betting and gaming sector in Latin America. Held from February 25 to 27 at Riocentro, the event brought together key industry figures, including operators, affiliates, regulators and suppliers, offering a strategic environment for networking and learning about the newly regulated Brazilian market.
With significant growth compared to the previous edition, the event attracted 15,000 attendees and featured a robust exhibition area, where global and regional brands presented their latest innovations. In addition, the educational program was enriched with four conference stages and two parallel summits: the Affiliate Leaders Summit and the Payment Expert Summit.
Among the highlights, the event welcomed heavyweight speakers such as Brazilian soccer legend Bebeto, government authorities responsible for regulating the sector and executives from influential companies, including Fernando Garita (CEO of Betsul), Arthur Silva (CEO of Alfa Entertainment) and Marcos Sabiá (CEO of Galera.bet).
In addition to the lectures and panels, participants were able to take advantage of various networking opportunities, including exclusive social events, a 3v3 soccer championship and the INFINITY RIO closing party, which featured performances by Afrojack and DubDogz.

What are your expectations of the SBC Summit Rio?
“Guys, the SBC is in its second edition, this year expectations are high, we are in a regulated market, there is not only the exponential growth of companies within the regulated market, but the arrival of new companies. So, for Veriff, the more mature the market, the better, because we understand that it’s from there that the Bet companies, that the means of payment companies in this sector can really differentiate KPIs, can treat the KYC business not just as an obligation, but as part of their DNA and part of compliance. KYC is now being seen as an important tool for business sustainability. It’s a fair with a lot of networking, we not only have the parallel associations, such as Amig, the state lotteries, the municipal lotteries. So it’s a democratic space, a space open to novelties, it’s a market that’s hungry. And it’s very important for Veriff to be here and take part in this story.”
