Zona de Azar Brazil – Brazil: Deadline for Expression of Interest in Lotteries and Betting in São Paulo

Brazil.- May 6, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com   Last Friday, at 6 p.m., the deadline for the expression of interest procedure (PMI) ended, which had the objective of preparing studies for the implementation and operation of lotteries and betting in the city of São Paulo.

The public call notice was published on April 2 by the São Paulo Municipal Government Secretariat (SGM), through the Privatization and Alliances Coordination (SEDP).

According to the statement, the PMI was open to natural or legal persons, national or foreign, who met the established requirements and presented the necessary documents for accreditation. The deadline for requests for clarifications ended on April 30.

Companies will have 60 days from the authorization of the Special Evaluation Commission of the Municipality of São Paulo to present the studies. The accreditation form had to be sent to the email pmiprojetos@prefeitura.sp.gov.br.
