KEYNOTE: Integrated Resort Development, The Opening of HOIANA Casino in Vietnam.
Day Two started with a Vietnam-focused keynote by Steve Wolstenholme, CEO of Hoiana – Hoi An South Development. Mr. Wolstenholme walked through his experiences in the market and plans for the future, including the launch of HOIANA but also the development of tourism and gaming across Vietnam.
FIRESIDE CHAT: Casino Reopening &Operating in the “new normal”.
The following session included a “Fireside Chat” hosted by Fred Gushin of Spectrum Gaming Group. Speaking with Jose Angel Suerio, CEO of PH Resorts, the discussion centered around the re-opening of Asia’s casinos and what that may look like in the “new-normal” post COVID-19.
Keynote: Top predictions for the future of Gaming in Asia: Integrated Resort edition.
The following keynote was hosted by Walt Power, CEO of Ho Tram Project Ltd, in conversation with Chris Wieners, Managing Partner of HOGO and anchor of ICE Asia Digital Day One. Mr. Power brought to the table years of experience in gaming markets from around the world including Macau and Vietnam, where he is currently based.

Attention shifted to Japan, where Brendan Bussmann of GMA spoke with Ayako Nakayama of the IR Association, Kazuaki Saski, PhD, Professor at the Toyo University and Toru Mihara, the newly appointed Chair of the National Council on Gaming Legislation in Japan. The group discussed Japan’s IR develo
IN FOCUS: Analysing the Public Consensus of IR’s in Japan.
IN FOCUS: The Future of Chinese Consumerism and Tourism.
The final session of the day was headlined by Annie Siara of 86 Connects. With previous experience in Macau, Annie discussed how COVID-19 continues to affect Chinese tourism and overall consumerism including a focus on what operators and those targeting Chinese customers need to understand moving forward.
