Isle of Man.-  May 13, 2020 www.zonadeazar.com – Personalised player content launches with fireworks as Throwables join the action a day later.

PokerStars has today launched ‘The Rail’, a one-stop, personalised destination within the PokerStars client where players can keep up to date with their favourite activities, events and content.

Available initially in the UK, PokerStars players will receive individually tailored recommendations ranging from social media, Twitch, PokerStars School and multimedia content to events, recent games played, personalised videos, recent big wins and newly available challenges and promotions.

Severin Rasset, Managing Director and Commercial Officer of Poker at The Stars Group International, said: “One of the best parts of the job is bringing our players something that is brand new, unique and which adds to their excitement every time they visit PokerStars. We have been working on The Rail behind the scenes for some time to get it just right and we can’t wait to see the difference personalised content makes to the PokerStars experience. This is the first step and we will continue to see new additions and regular updates as this unfolds.”

Another new feature available to all players from 14 May is ‘Throwables’. Throwables are virtual objects that allow players to interact with their opponents at the table, display a range of emotions, or simply have fun, bringing the game to life.

Three Throwables will be available with more to come:

• Fireworks – Launch rockets across the table at an opponent, setting fireworks off above their head.
• Tissues – Throw a box of tissues at an opponent to dry their tears after a bad beat.
• Alarm Clock – Tell an opponent to get a move on with the alarm clock, which will ring and shake when it lands. (Can be unlocked through a limited time challenge)

The Rail and Throwables are now available on .UK and will launch on other licences in coming months.
