Zona de Azar U.K – PokerStars Women’s Sunday buy-in Remains at $22 With Extra Value Added

U.K.- May 13, 2021 www.zonadeazar.com  Following a number of weeks testing the PokerStars Women’s Sunday buy-in at a lower price and feedback from the community, the $22 buy-in will now remain for the weekly tournament making it more accessible for female players of all levels to get involved in the action.

To celebrate the new $22 buy-in, this Sunday’s tournament on May 16 (tournament number: 3188597746) will have $640 worth of tournament tickets added to the prizepool. The winner will receive a $530 ticket, and second and third place will receive $55 tickets, which can all be used in the SCOOP Afterparty series.

“Since testing the buy-in at $22, we’ve seen more players getting involved and received positive feedback on both the entry point and the tickets we’ve been adding to the prizepool from our female insights community ‘Our Voices’ and on other platforms, so we’ve taken this on board and made the change,” said Rebecca McAdam Willetts, Associate Director of Consumer Engagement and Public Relations at PokerStars. “We’re continuing to work on this and other ideas behind the scenes and would encourage players to sign up to ‘Our Voices’ and get involved so we can continue to shape the space for women in poker together, and give them the best experience possible.”

The Women’s Sunday tournament takes place at 14:40 ET every Sunday on PokerStars.com. Late registration is available for an hour and a half. Satellites are also available from $0.22.
