Zona de Azar Brasil – Brasil: Omar Aziz Requests Suspension of Online Betting Games

Brasil.- September 25, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com  Senator Omar Aziz (PSD-AM) called on the government to regulate the law on the fixed-odds lottery betting modality (Law 14.790, 2023), ensuring broad rules for the oversight and control of online betting, as well as the protection of consumers and society.

The senator proposed to the Attorney General’s Office a fundamental rights non-compliance action, requesting the Supreme Court to take down online betting sites.
