The entity reaffirms its commitment to transparency, responsibility, and regulatory compliance.

It is noteworthy that its members represent about 70% of the betting market in the country. Moreover, all of them have formally submitted their licensing applications and demonstrate alignment with legal requirements.

IBJR-affiliated operators have made an important decision. In dialogue with the Ministry of Finance, they have voluntarily banned the use of credit cards on their platforms.

Although this payment method represents only 0.5% of deposits, the measure aims to mitigate financial risks and simultaneously reinforce a more responsible experience for users.

In the statement, IBJR emphasizes its strong belief in regulation. On the one hand, it is the most effective way to address challenges. On the other hand, it ensures the protection of both consumers and the state. The association is willing to contribute with solutions and is therefore formalizing requests for meetings with government bodies.

Among the organizations are the Ministry of Development, Industry, and Commerce, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Social Development. These meetings aim to clarify important aspects and data about the market.
