Zona de Azar Brasil – Brazil: Ministry of Sport Offers Free and Online Football Courses
Brazil, December 18, 2024 – www.zonadeazar.com Registrations are now open for the Academia e Futebol Program courses, promoted by the Ministry of Sport in partnership with the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Ceará (IFCE).
The program offers 10 free online courses in various areas related to football management. Registrations are open until January 1, 2025.
Participants can enroll in up to three courses simultaneously. Each course consists of 40 hours of lessons, an e-book, and a certificate upon completion. The available courses include:
- Sports Law in Football
- Women in Leadership Roles in Football
- Methodology for Teaching Football
- Methodology for Teaching Futsal
- Communication and Marketing in Football Clubs
- Football Club Management
- Management of Social Football and Futsal Projects
- Infrastructure Management in Football Clubs
- Management and Fundraising for Women’s Football Projects
- Technical Management in Football Clubs
“The program offers initial and continuing education courses nationwide in a distance-learning format, covering various dimensions of football and its derivatives. These courses have already reached over 10,000 professionals and students across all states, showcasing their importance and effectiveness as a public policy for sports development,” highlighted Athirson Mazolli, the National Secretary for Football and Supporter Rights.
Academia e Futebol
Promoted by the National Secretariat for Football and Supporter Rights (SNFDT) under the Ministry of Sport, the Academia e Futebol Program aims to:
- Support the production and dissemination of knowledge,
- Offer training in football and related modalities such as futsal and beach soccer.
In partnership with SNFDT, the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Ceará (IFCE), a federal and centennial public educational institution, developed the short-term courses. These free, distance-learning courses focus on technical, management, and legal aspects of football and its derivatives.
Each course was created by renowned specialists with significant academic and professional credentials in Brazil.
