Brazil.- December 19, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com Google announced on Tuesday, December 17, its new policy regarding advertisements for sports betting and online gambling companies in Brazil. According to the new guidelines, only companies licensed by SPA will be allowed to advertise on Google’s platform.

The company aims to ensure that only licensed companies advertise on its platform. The requirement is that, in addition to the license issued by SPA, betting companies must register on the platform and obtain a valid certification from Google to continue advertising.

Google’s measure aligns with SPA’s regulations on sports betting advertising. This ensures that only licensed companies run advertising campaigns starting January 1, 2025.

Starting January 1, 2025, all advertisers offering online sports betting and fixed-odds games in Brazil must provide a valid license from the Ministry of Finance (MF) to maintain their certification for online gambling.

If you were previously approved based on a pending license, you must now submit your definitive license. If you do not have a valid license from the Brazilian Ministry of Finance, you must stop your advertisements with us by January 1, 2025, and your certification will be revoked in January.
