Zona de Azar Brasil – The Study Carried Out at the Request of Botafogo Is Not Enough Evidence

Brazil.- June 28, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com  The study carried out by Good Game, at the request of Botafogo, is not sufficient as the only evidence of fraud in matches.

This was the determination of a Council of Europe entity after investigating ways to detect games with manipulated results.

The Council of Europe, a human rights institution, established the Copenhagen Group to develop strategies against corruption in sporting results, with the support of UEFA.

Between 2017 and 2019, the group examined the techniques of three companies specializing in detecting fraud in matches: Footvision, Good Game and StatsPerform.
