Brazil – November 13, 2024. www.zonadeazar.com The “CPI das Bets” was established on Tuesday (12) and will be chaired by Senator Dr. Hiran (PP-RO), with Senator Alessandro Vieira (MDB-SE) as vice-chair.

The rapporteur, Senator Soraya Thronicke (Pode-MS), succeeded in approving the work plan, which includes requests for information and subpoenas.

She emphasized that the commission will investigate gamblers’ losses, the role of criminal organizations in money laundering, and the role of influencers.
