The senator mentioned former Minister José Dirceu, former Congressman Eduardo Cunha, and former Governor of Rio de Janeiro Sérgio Cabral. According to Cleitinho, “those who embezzled public funds have no moral right to run for office again.”

What I’d really like to do is punch someone like Eduardo Cunha in the face, someone who wants to run for office. But I can’t, because the guilty ones end up being us. These guys are probably drinking whiskey and laughing at the people. They’re betting on who will win the election.

The senator also presented headlines and videos highlighting economic issues and budget cuts by the federal government. According to Cleitinho, the difficulties faced by the population are the result of poor government choices and a lack of prioritization in public spending.

The senator further criticized the allocation of resources for festivities in small towns while essential areas like healthcare and social security face cuts. According to him, the city of Gouveia (MG), with 11,000 inhabitants, spent R$8 million on Christmas decorations.
