These sponsorship contracts, previously at risk due to restrictions limiting regularization to Rio de Janeiro through Loterj, can now proceed without obstacles.

The company announced in an official statement that it has already paid the required subsidy to operate nationwide.

The Esportes da Sorte Group confirms that it is authorized to operate nationwide under license 030/2024 from SPA/MF. The decision affirms that the company has complied with all legal and regulatory procedures outlined by the legislation and respective ordinances since the beginning.

The group also emphasized that the reason for the administrative denial was deemed illegal by the federal court and that it has already paid the subsidy. The company’s website will soon transition to the new domain as instructed by SPA/MF Ordinance No. 11 for registry use.

In light of this, the Esportes da Sorte Group reaffirms its commitment to sector regulation and responsible gambling, aiming to protect the interests of civil society, create jobs, generate income, and support the country’s economic, social, and cultural development.

Notably, the company helps pay the salary of Memphis Depay, one of the most expensive players in Brazilian football.

Corinthians Debuts in Paulistão with Esportes da Sorte on Its Jersey

Until recently, Corinthians risked debuting in Paulistão without a main sponsor. However, with this victory for Esportes da Sorte, Timão will feature its principal partner’s branding in the match against RB Bragantino on Thursday (16).

Ceará

Ceará, also sponsored by the group, had already received positive signals to keep Esportes da Sorte as its main jersey sponsor. Following a meeting, the club agreed on key points with the company, ensuring the betting company’s branding remains on the center of its jersey.

Thus, Ceará confirmed legal certainty in the signed contract, guaranteeing the continuation of the sponsorship.

Impact of the New Regulation

Since early 2025, Brazil’s betting market has operated under new regulations. Companies are now required to register domains with the suffix “.bet.br.” The Secretariat of Prizes and Betting released a list of 14 companies authorized to operate, each paying R$ 30 million. These licenses are valid for five years, ensuring stability in the sector.

Pixbet, which sponsors Flamengo, faced the same issue as Esportes da Sorte earlier this year. However, the betting company recently received provisional authorization from the Treasury Ministry.
