Zona de Azar Brazil – Brazil: Esporte Clube Vitória Terminates Contract with Betsat
Brazil, December 11, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com Esporte Clube Vitória announced on Monday (December 9) the termination of its contract with Betsat, the club’s main sponsor. The club’s president, Fábio Mota, made the announcement during a press conference at Barradão in Salvador.
Betsat, which had partnered with the club in December 2023, invested R$ 7.2 million annually. The termination was amicable, with mutual recognition from both parties.
“We thank Betsat, which is a serious and reputable company that supported us. It fulfilled everything agreed upon. But there are new projects for both Betsat and Vitória,” Mota stated.
On social media, the Bahia-based club acknowledged the importance of the betting company, which was responsible for the largest sponsorship deal in Vitória’s history. “Since the beginning of the 2024 season, Betsat has been a great ally, fulfilling all its commitments and contributing significantly to winning the Campeonato Baiano and securing a spot in the Copa Sudamericana for next year.”
“The board and fans thank them for the partnership and wish the brand much success in its new commercial and strategic paths,” read the team’s message on social media.
Vitória Eyes New Sponsor
Despite the termination, Vitória already has plans for a new main sponsor. The new partnership, also with a company in the sports betting sector, is expected to be announced later this week.
“Probably Thursday or Friday, we’ll hold a new press conference to announce our new main sponsor. We’re just finalizing the last details,” confirmed the club president.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement, as the main sponsorship plays a crucial role in the club’s revenue. With 2025 promising to be a year filled with important competitions, the stakes are high.
Vitória Projects Million-Dollar Revenue in 2025
In addition to the main sponsorship change, the president revealed another update: the renewal of the contract with Fatal Model. The escort site, a partner of the club since 2023, will continue displaying its brand on the team’s uniform.
Fábio Mota highlighted that, with the already established deals, the club expects to generate approximately R$ 29 million in sponsorships for the 2025 season.
This amount will be crucial to fund the team’s participation in major competitions, including the Campeonato Baiano, Copa do Nordeste, Copa do Brasil, Copa Sudamericana, and Série A of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
Strategic Growth and Market Consolidation
These sponsorship changes highlight Vitória’s strategy to strengthen its brand and increase revenue. The sports betting sector, which is experiencing exponential growth in Brazil, remains a financial pillar for many clubs.
With the new sponsorship finalized, the Rubro-Negro aims to solidify its position both on and off the field, targeting titles and a solid financial management.
This new phase represents a decisive moment for the club and its relationship with strategic partners, especially in Brazil’s highly competitive football market.
