Brazil.- November 26, 2024. www.zonadeazar.com João André Gerçossimo, founder and CEO of EstrelaBet (pictured), announced that the company has been approved by the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA) of the Ministry of Finance to continue legally operating in the Brazilian market, following the payment of R$ 30 million for the concession.

“Today, we are not just celebrating an approval. We are celebrating the beginning of a new era for betting in Brazil,” Gerçossimo stated on LinkedIn.

For him, regulation is an opportunity to “make a difference,” transforming the bettors’ experience.

“EstrelaBet has been approved to operate under license, and this means we are ready to keep doing what we were born to do. We didn’t come here to be just another betting company. Don’t place us on the same shelf. We were born to be the greatest,” Gerçossimo emphasized.

Before concluding, the founder and CEO of EstrelaBet stated that the current state of the Brazilian betting market doesn’t come close to its true potential: “At EstrelaBet, we don’t follow trends; we create them. I remain unsatisfied with the current state of our market because, to me, it still falls short of what it could be.”
