Zona de Azar Brazil – Brazil: Five Betting Houses Sponsoring Football Won’t Receive Licenses

Brazil – October 03, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com Five betting houses with master sponsorship contracts with clubs from the A and B Series of the Brasileirão are not included in the final list from the Ministry of Finance. Among them, Esportes da Sorte stands out, as it sponsors Corinthians and also has commercial partnerships with Bahia, Athletico Paranaense, and Grêmio.

Additionally, the company is the main sponsor of the women’s teams of Palmeiras and Ceará, in Serie B. In an interview with Estadão, Esportes da Sorte stated that it submitted all the necessary documents to operate legally, but claimed there was an error in the Finance Ministry’s system.

Stake, the main sponsor of Juventude, is also missing from the list. In Serie B, Betvip (sponsor of Sport), Dafabet (of Guarani), and Reals Bet (of Amazonas and Coritiba) were also excluded. Besides these, VaideBet, known for its brief master sponsorship with Corinthians, also does not appear in the final list.
