Zona de Azar Brazil – Brazil: Regulatory Action Taken Against CEF and Febralot Following AIDIGLOT Complaint

Brazil.- 05th September 2023 www.zonadeazar.com The General Superintendence of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (SG/Cade) imposed a preventive measure on Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) and the Brazilian Federation of Lottery Companies (Febralot), as a result of a representation submitted by the Association of Digital Lottery Games Intermediaries (AIDIGLOT).

The institutions will not be able to apply any kind of sanctions to the activities of lottery intermediation platforms, and must stop actions that prevent or discredit the work of these companies.

The decision must be published by Caixa on its website in order to make the information public.
