Zona de Azar Brazil – Brazil: Sports Betting CPI may be Extended

Brazil.- August 01, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com    The CPI on Match Manipulation and Sports Betting was set up in April with the aim of investigating allegations and suspicions of match-fixing in football matches involving players, managers, referees, club presidents and betting companies.

Scheduled to end in early October, the CPI should be extended until the end of the year.

According to the chairman of the committee, Senator Jorge Kajuru (PSB-GO), new documents were presented that need to be analyzed carefully.
