Recognized by the World Health Organization as a mental disorder, gambling addiction leads to various negative effects, such as increased cases of depression and anxiety, indebtedness, unemployment, alcoholism, domestic violence, and even suicide, according to researchers. They advocated for measures to limit the extent of these issues.
