However, he was not located by the Senate’s Legislative Police. His defense attorney claimed that he was outside the country.

According to the CPI’s president, Senator Jorge Kajuru (PSB-GO), the ticket was purchased only after the summons was issued. The senator requested preventive detention of the businessman, who had previously been arrested as part of the “Penalidade Máxima” (Maximum Penalty) operation by the Goiás Public Prosecutor’s Office.
