Zona de Azar Brazil – The President of the Parliamentary Inquiry Requests Extension of the Sports Betting Inquiry

Brazil.- September 27, 2024, www.zonadeazar.com. The president of the Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPI) on Game and Sports Betting Manipulation, Jorge Kajuru (PSB-GO), has requested an extension of the commission’s work until December.

According to the senator, the investigations were hindered by the parliamentary recess and the municipal elections.

Kajuru believes that more individuals need to be heard, such as player Lucas Paquetá, who is under investigation in England. The rapporteur of the CPI is Senator Romário (PL-RJ). Source: Agência Senado
