Canada – The World Lottery Association (WLA) kicked off its traditional annual summit. World Lottery Summit 2022 kicked off yesterday, Sunday, October 16, and will run through Saturday, October 22.

This time, the event was promoted by the WLA together with the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL), and organized by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC). Thus, the congress returned to Canada after a decade. Previously, in 2012, it had taken place in Montreal.

World Lottery Summit convenes the global lottery community to create the roadmap that will lead the global lottery industry to an inspiring future. “Pursuing our mission to raise funds for good causes is a never-ending journey that must be traveled with determination, inspiration and innovation,” said the organization.

As part of the summit, the WLA enabled the WLS 2022 app, available for both Android and IOS devices. The app provides the fastest way to find all the information you will need at the event, including the trade program, speaker profiles, sponsors, trade show details and floor plan.

In addition, it allows users to access the exhibitor list that contains the booth number, as well as key contact and other information about all exhibitors. And added to this is the networking function to grow your contacts. There is also a chat and photo sharing option.
