The objective of the organizers is that GAT EXPO consolidates its international fair character, reaching new markets to expand the business opportunities of exhibitors and sponsors.
Cartagena de Indias
The second novelty of maximum interest informed by the organizers refers to the change of venue for the event next year. The chosen place could not be more attractive: Cartagena de Indias, a historically and culturally emblematic city, now a world-class tourist destination and a reference in the so-called meetings industry, with a privileged and strategic geographical location, as a gateway to America Latina, on the Caribbean coast of Colombia.
The place chosen is the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center www.cccartagena.com , the only one in Colombia that holds the Gold Certification of the International Association of Conference Centers (AIPC) and the quality certification granted by Bureau Veritas for excellence in its operation processes The convention center is a Free Trade Zone authorized by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, MINCIT of Colombia.
Visitors
It is expected that in addition to businessmen from all regions of the country and traditional visitors from Peru, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, an important number of operators from the Caribbean, Panama, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Mexico, as well as representatives of companies from Europe and Asia, mainly. Academic agenda
An alliance with Clarion Gaming, the organizing firm of ICE London, will allow Gaming & Technology Week to offer professionalization courses run by Totally Gaming Academy, the world’s most qualified academy in these topics. The courses and workshops will be held on Tuesday, April 21 and Wednesday, April 22.
Institutional events
During the Gaming Week, the federation assemblies will be held on Wednesday April 22, Thursday 23 and Friday the 24 in the morning, in the halls of the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center.
