España.- July 04, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com Clarion Gaming, a firm that organizes B2B events in the gaming industry, announced that it has outlined “an ambitious growth and development plan” based on what it estimates that its ICE and iGB Affiliate events will increase its exhibition areas within five years , they will be able to summon around 100,000 attendees.
In a statement, the firm’s general director, Stuart Hunter, warned that the transfer of events from London to Barcelona, which will take place in 2025, “provides the ability to scale the exhibition at a pace that suits the industry ”.
The 2025 energy fair will feature 120,000 m2 of space, compared to the 100,000 m2 of ICE 2024. From then on, the executive indicated that if they were able to use 150,000 m2 in the first year in Barcelona, they are “very conscious of the need for controlled growth”. “Our strategy consists of expanding the physical size of the room in parallel with a proportional increase in assistance”, he noted.
“The objectives that we have set and that Barcelona allows us to achieve are increasing the salon to 200,000 square meters in the next five years and assisting around 100,000 people, which will represent an increase of 45% in relation to the record established in the edition February 2023,” Hunter anticipated.
In line with it, he stated that “these are ambitious objectives” that are proposed to be achieved “in collaboration with the sector and for the good of all interested parties”.

Meanwhile, Hunter offered details on the 2025 edition of events in Barcelona. “Visitors looking for exhibitors in the casino sector will go to panel 3, panel 2 will be the home of online gaming, panel 5 will join the community of sports games and electronic sports and the iGB Affiliate fair will be located there pabellón 1, with 13,407 m2 of capacity”, details.
“This will make it even easier to search for sector-specific content, which will greatly benefit visitors who want to optimize their attendance at what is the most important business event of the year,” he added.
In turn, Hunter noted that Clarion Gaming “is about to launch its ICE 2025 travel guide, which will explain the best ways for visitors to visit ICE and secure hotel accommodation at competitive prices.”
“We have 40,000 hotel nights available at the lowest prices possible during the five years of rental, which can be accessed through our associated official accommodation network. As regards travel, flights are very expensive and the venue is 20 minutes away by metro from the airport to the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via integrated station”, he explained.
Finally, the executive celebrated that, in a great show of confidence, the exhibitors supported this decision, as 72% of the 25 largest exhibitors will increase their presence in 2025.
