The product is part of Neymar Jr’s on-going partnership with PokerStars, which sees him take on the role of PokerStars’ Cultural Ambassador, with the aim to shake up poker.

Alongside Neymar Jr’s Kick-off, today sees the announcement of the Cultural Collective. Neymar Jr will be working with a team known as the Cultural Collective on a series of new experiences and one-off activities which will reward the PokerStars community.

Neymar Jr has handpicked artists across the world to join the Collective and each curate a bespoke deck of playing cards to be gifted to the PokerStars community. The decks represent the culture and inspiration that he draws from the world around him and has seen him work with Laurie Vincent in the UK, Pedro Gomes in Brazil and French artist Kashnik.

PokerStars players can get their hands on the decks through giveaways running across PokerStars channels.

Full details on how to play Neymar Jr’s Kick Off:

• Players can buy in from $1 to $25. The higher the buy-in, the closer to the goal players start.
• Players at the same buy-in level compete in ‘sprints’, four-player progressive knockout Sit & Go tournaments that each last around five minutes.
• When someone is eliminated, their value is split two ways. A percentage is added to the victor’s value and a percentage is awarded as cash directly into the victor’s wallet.
• This cash prize will be multiplied, meaning players could win more than $50,000 at higher stakes.
• As players knock each other out, their own bounty value increases. They then move to the next sprint, where they will be matched with players of similar bounty values.
• Eliminated players keep any winnings from knockouts.
• When a player wins a sprint, they can jump right into the next one or save it for later. Every completed sprint gets players closer to the finish line, where they will be crowned a PokerStars Kick-Off champion.
• If a player wins their sprint and reaches a value of $50 or more, they will score a goal and win their own bounty value, plus all the additional bounties accumulated during the sprints completed.
