Zona de Azar Netherlands – GLI Europe and GLI Spain Achieve ISO 17025 2017 Accreditation from RvA
Netherlands.- September 6th 2019 www.zonadeazar.com Gaming Laboratories International’s (GLI®) GLI Europe and GLI Spain locations are the first gaming test labs to achieve accreditation to the 2017 version of the ISO 17025 standard from the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA).
Earlier this year, GLI was the first independent gaming lab to achieve accreditation from American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) to transition GLI’s Scopes of Accreditation to the 2017 version of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. This applied to GLI’s laboratories in Lakewood, New Jersey, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Las Vegas, Nevada, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Macau, China.
“We have been working diligently at each of our worldwide locations to transition our test labs as quickly as possible from the 2005 version to this latest-available 2017 version of ISO 17025,” said GLI Vice President of Technical Compliance and Quality Assurance Chris Gallo. “Our mission is to provide the highest quality testing possible to our clients, and acting within the requirements of our accreditation bodies is a crucial step in that mission.”
Beginning in October 2018, GLI has transitioned its test labs in Asia, Australia, Holland, North America, South Africa, and Spain in an ongoing effort to ensure that its testing labs are compliant with the most current ISO requirements.
While not all of its test labs have yet completed the transition from the 2005 version to the 2017 version, all GLI test labs are operating under the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
GLI has established itself as the most highly accredited gaming testing lab in the world by a wide margin. The GLI Group of Companies maintains 27 accreditations from various accreditation bodies worldwide.
