Peru.- August 8, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com  SkillOnNet has obtained the license to operate in Peru granted by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur). Users will be able to enjoy the experience of playing on SkillOnNet’s Spanish-localized software with its flagship PlayUZU.pe brand.

Online gambling has long been legal in Peru, but until recently the country lacked a legal framework for licensing.

In August 2022, Peruvian legislators approved a law that established a comprehensive regulatory framework for gaming activities. The law went into effect in February 2024, starting a 30-day period for license applications.

The granting of the license highlights SkillOnNet’s commitment to working in regulated markets and represents a new milestone for its expansion in the Latam region. This drive has allowed it to recently launch successfully in the new regulated markets of Mexico and the City of Buenos Aires.
