U.K..- November 21, 2024  www.zonadeazar.comFollowing the release of its new guide to help the gaming sector ensure compliance with responsible gambling standards, the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) has highlighted Safer Gambling Week, held from November 18 to 24.

According to the organization, this is an excellent opportunity to acknowledge the important work being done by the industry.

8th Edition of the Event and the Importance of Responsible Gambling

Organized by the BGC, BACTA (Betting and Gaming Council Alternative Testing Agreement), and the Bingo Association, Safer Gambling Week is now in its 8th year in the United Kingdom.

Once again, the event will feature a range of safer gambling messages, both online and at physical locations, as part of an effort to increase national conversations about responsible gambling.

Andrew Rhodes, Chief Executive of the Gambling Commission, stated:
“Ensuring safety must always be central to every aspect of gambling. However, Safer Gambling Week provides a valuable opportunity to further emphasize this priority.”
