Zona de Azar USA – Caesars to Reopen Final Property on December 22
USA.- November 13th 2020 www.zonadeazar.com Caesars Entertainment has announced that the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino will reopen on Tuesday 22 December, marking the firm’s final property to resume operations across the US and Canada amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The resumption of business at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino follows the successful reopening of all Caesars regional casinos and hotels across the country, in addition to the company’s other Las Vegas properties.
Beginning just in time for Christmas, the property’s gaming floor will be open seven days a week, with the venue’s hotel able to accommodate guests for weekend stays.
Furthermore, coinciding with the reopening, the Rio will also debut the newly branded William Hill sportsbook, with new customer offerings included such as self-service sports betting kiosks.
Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino has implemented Caesars’ new health and safety protocols, which enhance its existing plans and practices in these areas.
Among the enhanced protocols are more frequent cleaning and sanitization, a health screening program for all employees, and a mandatory mask requirement for team members and guests.
“As the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino prepares to resume operations on December 22, this marks the final Caesars Entertainment resort to reopen in the US and Canada,” stated Anthony Carano, president and chief operating officer of Caesars Entertainment.
“The past nine months have been filled with challenges, as well as opportunities including the merging of our two gaming companies to form the new Caesars Entertainment.
“We recognise the incredible effort it has taken to reopen our resorts and get us to this important milestone, and we look forward to welcoming our team members and guests back to Rio with their health and safety still top of mind.”
Earlier this month Caesars stated that regional locales continue to outperform “destination markets,” as the casino operator voiced optimism at an eventual recovery of travel and tourism in the US and especially in Las Vegas.
