Zona de Azar USA – First ESPN BET Sportsbook Set to Debut at Hollywood Casino at Greektown this Spring

USA.- February 19, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com This spring, the inaugural ESPN BET Sportsbook is set to launch within the premises of Hollywood Casino at Greektown. Officials from ESPN and PENN Entertainment declared on Thursday that the sportsbook at Hollywood Casino at Greektown will undergo a rebranding process and transform into ESPN BET in April.

PENN Entertainment, the entity overseeing Hollywood Casino at Greektown, initially acquired Barstool Sports in February 2023 and operated a Barstool Sportsbook within the casino. However, during the summer, the entertainment company struck a deal with ESPN and subsequently sold Barstool back to its founder.

The upcoming ESPN BET venue will mark the first of its kind in the country. PENN Entertainment CEO and President Jay Snowden expressed enthusiasm, stating in a release, “We’re excited to announce that our leading sportsbook, Hollywood Casino at Greektown, will debut as the inaugural ESPN BET-branded sportsbook in our portfolio. In collaboration with ESPN, we anticipate expanding the ESPN BET brand through our premium retail sportsbooks and creating distinctive omni-channel experiences at key PENN properties nationwide.”

As per officials, ESPN’s regional radio talent will be hosting various events at the sportsbooks throughout the year.
