Zona de Azar USA – Fontainebleau Sees Another Executive Departure, 4th in a Month Since Casino Opening
USA.- January 24th 2024 www.zonadeazar.com Yet another executive has stepped down from Fontainebleau.
Angie Dobney, the Vice President of Revenue Management, has resigned from her position, as confirmed by a representative from the resort on Tuesday.
In an email statement, the representative expressed gratitude for Dobney’s contributions and wished her success in her future endeavors.
Angie Dobney brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned revenue and customer relationship management professional. Prior to joining Fontainebleau, she led strategic consulting firms and worked in revenue management for various properties in the Las Vegas area, as indicated on her LinkedIn profile.
Dobney’s departure marks the fourth leadership exit in as many weeks. On January 11, former Chief Operating Officer Colleen Birch and former Chief Marketing Officer Shane Smith resigned voluntarily, according to resort officials. Michael Clifford, Senior Vice President of Casino Operations, also left the company in late December.
Fontainebleau recently opened its doors after nearly two decades of history at the location. The property’s concept was introduced in 2005 when Florida developer Jeff Soffer acquired the original historic Miami Beach property. However, the project faced financial challenges during the Great Recession, changing ownership multiple times over the years. Soffer reclaimed ownership of the luxury property in partnership with Koch Industries’ real estate investment wing in 2021.
