Zona de Azar USA – Hard Rock Hotel New York Opens in Midtown Manhattan
www.zonadeazar.com Hard Rock International has launched its newest property, with the long-awaited New York Hotel opening to great fanfare in the centre of Manhattan.
The hotel’s 446 rooms and suites, of which the cheapest will set customers back at least $475 per night, offer premium facilities and comforts. The design is said to be inspired by the city lit up at dusk, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering guests panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline.
The Rock Star Suite, the hotel’s flagship accommodation, is available on the 36th floor. It is said to offer one of the largest terraces in New York, at 1,600 square feet.
The New York property represents the 23rd North American hotel operated by Hard Rock International, which is owned by The Seminole Tribe of Florida.
Hard Rock International Chairman Jim Allen commented: “New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world and we are honoured to open our doors to locals and travellers looking for a best-in-class hotel, dining, and entertainment experience.
“Hard Rock has had a presence for decades in the City, but this location will deliver an entirely new experience from the brand that’s been synonymous with music and entertainment for over 50 years.”
In terms of guest experiences, Hard Rock International, a brand name synonymous with live music, has installed several performance spaces across the facility. Audacy Live, in partnership with US broadcaster Audacy, will feature live events, recording sessions with artists and intimate performances.
The hotel also features a range of food and drink options, including NYY Steak in partnership with the New York Yankees.
In addition to the New York Hotel, Hard Rock International is said to be considering three possible venues for a new casino in Manhattan, at a cost of $2bn. For context, the recently-opened hotel had a reported budget of $400m to $500m.
