Zona de Azar USA – Hawaiian Airlines Expands Las Vegas-Honolulu Flights for Summer Season
USA.- January 24th 2024 www.zonadeazar.com Hawaiian Airlines has announced an increase in seasonal flights between Las Vegas and Honolulu, extending for approximately two months starting in May.
The Honolulu-based airline, which revealed plans for a merger with Alaska Airlines in December, will elevate its current four-times-weekly round trips between Honolulu International Airport and Harry Reid International Airport to daily service from May 24, as per a company statement. This enhancement will provide Hawaiian Airlines with three daily flights connecting Las Vegas and Hawaii’s largest city.
The supplementary flights are scheduled to operate between May 24 and July 28. This expansion is part of Hawaiian’s seasonal strategy, including increased services between Honolulu and five cities, four of them situated on the U.S. mainland. The airline will also boost flights to and from Boston, Los Angeles, Austin, Texas, and Pago Pago, American Samoa.
On the Las Vegas-Honolulu route, Hawaiian Airlines faces competition from Southwest Airlines, which currently offers one daily round trip.
Hawaiian Airlines deploys Airbus A330 and Boeing 787 jets for these routes.
Brent Overbeek, Senior Vice President, and Chief Revenue Officer at Hawaiian Airlines stated, “Travelers will enjoy more options and convenient schedules as they plan their summer travel to and from the islands. This is also the first year we will offer a fourth daily HNL-LAX flight, which reflects the strong demand for our brand in Southern California.”
