Zona de Azar USA – Mike Tyson and Jake Paul Today: Expected to be the Most Bet-On Fight in History

USA – November 15, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com  The historic clash between boxing legend Mike Tyson and rising star Jake Paul is just around the corner. The fight will be broadcast on Netflix, giving fans the chance to enjoy every second of the action.

The match has also become the subject of multiple controversies, though this hasn’t stopped bettors from going all in.

The matchup between Tyson and Paul is unconventional, given the significant age difference between the two fighters. Tyson, in particular, hasn’t officially competed in the ring since 2005, yet he has far more experience than Paul, who began fighting in 2018.

The showdown has created the perfect recipe for debate. While Tyson’s devoted fans are convinced he’ll crush the newcomer, others believe he has no chance due to the age gap.

But what are bettors saying? It turns out Tyson is receiving most of the bets despite the odds being against him. Bookmakers report that bettors expect Tyson to win by knockout, technical knockout, or disqualification and believe that the veteran’s great physical condition will allow him to keep pace with his much younger opponent.

At DraftKings, 64% of the money has been bet on Paul at -275 odds. Meanwhile, Tyson has attracted 66% of the total bets at +210 odds, and the sportsbook has set the Over/Under for total rounds at 5.5, according to Reuters.

At BetMGM, Tyson’s popularity has driven his odds from +275 to +188. 59% of the bets and 76% of the money are on him. Paul’s odds, on the other hand, have dropped from -275 to -190.

Fans Support Tyson, but the Book Supports Paul

Experts at BetVictor noted that Tyson still has the theoretical ability to end the fight with a single punch and suggested that Paul might benefit from playing defensively and waiting for his older opponent to tire. Nonetheless, oddsmakers lean toward believing Paul has a clear advantage.

However, this confidence could lead to a major upset for bookmakers if Tyson emerges victorious. Veteran operator Alex Rella told Reuters that this could be the most-bet boxing match in BetMGM’s history.

“Bettors want to see Paul knocked out and believe Tyson is the underdog. The sportsbook will be rooting for Paul to win.” — Alex Rella

The fight is scheduled for tomorrow and will last a total of eight rounds. Unlike the usual 3-minute rounds, these will be only 2 minutes each. Another notable difference is that both fighters will wear 14-ounce gloves, which will reduce the impact of the punches.

Due to these irregularities, some have started to doubt the authenticity of the match.

Jogo Global Develops Tyson-Themed Game

In other news, Jogo Global, a developer of innovative iGaming solutions and content, has announced the launch of Mike Tyson’s Crash. This new game, themed around Mike Tyson, arrives just in time for the legendary athlete’s showdown with Paul. Developed in partnership with Radar Zero, the game celebrates Tyson’s major achievements in his boxing career. Additionally, the game, much like Tyson himself, is designed to provide fans with unforgettable experiences.

Tyson himself commented on the launch, calling Mike Tyson’s Crash an intense title that will make fans feel the intensity of professional boxing. He praised Jogo Global and Radar Zero for capturing the spirit of his career and said he’s excited to share the experience with fans.
