Zona de Azar USA – The AGA Reports u$s16.07BN in Commercial Gaming Revenue During Q2 2023

USA.- August 17, 2023 www.zonadeazar.com The American Gaming Association (AGA) has released its Q2 2023 commercial gaming tracker results. The report reflected the growth seen for the tenth consecutive quarter.

Commercial gaming revenue reached $16.07bn during the second quarter. The latest figure is its highest revenue on record, according to the tracker data.

AGA President and CEO Bill Miller said, “While commercial gaming is on track for an unprecedented third consecutive year of record revenue, the lasting impact we’re making on our communities through this record growth is even more impressive.”

Furthermore, the quarter yielded the second-highest gross in the industry’s history. The first half of the year has raked in $32.71bn in commercial gaming revenue, reflecting a 12% boost when compared to results from the previous year.

Miller went on to comment on the recent report and said the numbers represent a strong recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said, “These results are a clear indication that our post-pandemic recovery wasn’t a fluke: the gaming sector continues to thrive and when we do well, our communities do well.

“To sustain this momentum, the AGA will continue enlisting more allies in our fight against the illegal market, bolstering responsible gaming, and building a business environment that allows our innovative industry to bring world-class entertainment to adults across America.”

In other AGA news, the group recently published new research that outlined a detailed study on the gaming industry workforce. According to the results, the gaming industry “is more diverse than national and hospitality industry benchmarks and boasts a diverse executive pipeline, while identifying opportunities on gender representation.”
