The prestigious conference will bring together gaming and racing industry leaders, academics, elected officials, lawyers, regulators, and racing patrons to examine the trends, challenges and critical issues facing the racing and gaming industries.
The RGCS has prepared an intensive agenda featuring experts discussing the racing and gaming industries from myriad perspectives. Topics for this year’s agenda include:

This year’s conference will also host two networking events—a Welcome Cocktail Party on Monday night and a charity event at historic Canfield Casino on Tuesday evening. Also, a day at the Historic Saratoga Race Course is planned for Wednesday.
Patrick Brown, co-founder of the Brown & Weinraub law firm in Albany and who serves a member of the Albany Law School, Government Law Center Advisory Board, will serve as conference director. Spectrum Gaming Group, will organize the event, to be held at the Hilton located in the historic downtown Saratoga Springs district.

The Racing and Gaming Conference at Saratoga began as The Saratoga Institute on Equine, Racing and Gaming Law and for 19 years was produced by the Government Law Center of Albany Law School. In February 2020, the Albany Law School turned over the reins to Brown.
