While these features have been the focus of much anticipation, as the doors of the north Strip casino and hotel swing open today, visitors will discover that live entertainment and nightlife are integral components, enriching the overall Vegas resort experience.

Fedor Banuchi, senior vice president of entertainment, special events, and sponsorships, emphasized the enduring association of the Fontainebleau brand with entertainment, dating back to the Rat Pack era. Originating in Miami in 1954, the original Fontainebleau hotel was a favorite among celebrities like Frank Sinatra, who frequented Las Vegas casinos extensively.

Banuchi expressed the owners’ strong support for entertainment, enabling them to compete in the market. As more shows are announced, the public will recognize Fontainebleau Las Vegas as a premier entertainment destination, targeting the pinnacle of the industry.

Post Malone, the chart-topping hip-hop artist, will inaugurate the 3,800-seat BleauLive Theater on December 30 and 31. Live Nation, Fontainebleau’s booking partner, will focus on touring acts rather than residency shows, offering a unique and modern venue with top-notch production capabilities.

The resort boasts various entertainment venues, including the Nowhere Lounge, a cocktail-centric space featuring free live music weekly. Additionally, the renowned LIV Nightclub, originally from Miami, makes its mark on the Las Vegas Strip after a decade of planning expansion.

David Grutman, founder of Groot Hospitality, expressed excitement about the collaboration with Fontainebleau Development CEO Jeffrey Soffer. The project includes the introduction of LIV Beach pool club in the spring, reinforcing the energetic nightlife district created by the proximity of LIV Nightclub, Papi Steak, and Komodo restaurants.

For the grand opening, Malone is expected to perform at LIV on New Year’s Eve, joined by DJ John Summit and hip-hop artist Metro Boomin. Grutman, reflecting on the venture, stated, “The first year is going to be exciting and new for everybody, but we’re long-ball players. We’ve been around for 16 years in Miami, and we’re going to love being around for a long time in Las Vegas.”
