Zona de Azar USA – AGA and Members Celebrate 25 Years of Responsible Gaming Education Month
USA.- June 5th 2023 www.zonadeazar.com In September, the American Gaming Association (AGA) and its members are coming together to commemorate 25 years of promoting responsible gaming education during Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM). This annual event highlights the industry’s commitment to fostering a safe and responsible gaming environment.
As part of #RGEM2023, participants are encouraged to plan ahead by accessing various resources such as the official logo, brand guidelines, and a participation guide. These materials can be downloaded to assist in organizing activities and spreading awareness about responsible gaming. Additionally, the AGA will provide additional resources, including messaging, social media content, and digital assets, in the coming summer months.
RGEM 2023 will feature weekly themes throughout September, aimed at addressing different aspects of responsible gaming. The schedule is as follows:
- September 1 – 10, 2023: Empowering Customers to Play Responsibly
During this period, the focus will be on empowering individuals to make informed decisions and engage in responsible gaming practices.
- September 11 – 17, 2023: Legal, Regulated Gaming Protects Players
This week will highlight the importance of legal and regulated gaming in ensuring player protection and minimizing the risks associated with unregulated gambling.
- September 18 – 24, 2023: Building a Responsible Gaming Culture Within
Efforts will be made to promote the development of a responsible gaming culture within the industry, fostering a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
- September 25 – 30, 2023: Advancing Responsible Gaming with Research
The final week will focus on the significance of research in advancing responsible gaming practices, exploring new insights and strategies to enhance player protection.
RGEM provides an opportunity for the gaming industry to reflect on its commitment to responsible gaming and educate both industry professionals and the public about the importance of responsible gambling practices. By promoting awareness and providing resources, the AGA and its members aim to create a safer and more enjoyable gaming experience for everyone.
