The $750 million casino resort will open its doors to the public at noon.
Festivities include a parade through Danville at 10:15 a.m., followed by speeches from Caesars Entertainment executives, Eastern Band Cherokee Indian representatives, and local leaders at 11 a.m. at the main entrance. In the evening, there will be a fireworks and drone show at 8 p.m.
The resort spans 587,000 square feet, featuring 1,500 slot machines, bars, lounges, six restaurants, and the highly anticipated Ramsay’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay.
Chris Albrecht, General Manager of Caesars Virginia, expects thousands of visitors.
