Zona de Azar USA – Changes in Las Vegas Sands Board: Resignations and New Appointment

USA.- January 22nd 2024 www.zonadeazar.com Las Vegas Sands Corp, a casino operator based in the United States, has announced the departure of two members from its board of directors, effective this month.

On January 13, David Levi informed the company of his decision to resign from the board, and the resignation will be effective as of Monday, January 22. Mr. Levi has been serving as a director of Las Vegas Sands since January 2015.

Nora Jordan, also a member of the company’s board, will be leaving on the same day. She is a senior counsel at the international law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and has been a member of the Las Vegas Sands board since January 2021.

According to a Thursday filing, the casino group clarified that the resignations of the two directors were “not the result of any disagreement with the company” on matters related to its “operations, policies, or practices.”

Additionally, the board has appointed Alain Li as a new member, and the appointment is also effective from Monday.

Las Vegas Sands Corp is the parent company of Macau casino operator Sands China Ltd. It also oversees the Marina Bay Sands casino resort in Singapore.
