Zona de Azar USA – Global Gaming Women Unveils G2E Events and Educational Sessions Lineup

USA.- October 10th 2023 www.zonadeazar.com The national advocacy group Global Gaming Women has announced a slate of activities for the Global Gaming Expo, Oct. 9-12, in Las Vegas.

“Global Gaming Women is ushering in a new era at this year’s G2E with an impressive line-up of educational programming on Tuesday, followed by the ever-popular 13th Annual Kick Up Your Heels Fundraiser Wednesday evening and then the return of Sip & Social with an inspirational keynote speech on Thursday morning,” said GGW President Cassie Stratford.

“We are thrilled that because of the ongoing support of our generous sponsors, we are able to continue offering educational programming and events that allow our members to connect, be empowered, and collaborate, furthering the success of women and improving our industry overall.”

GGW featured events include:

On October 10, Global Gaming Women Board Member Ellen Whittemore will be inducted into the American Gaming Association Gaming Hall of Fame during an invitation-only ceremony. Whittemore currently serves as Wynn Resorts Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Her induction into the Hall of Fame is a tribute to Whittemore’s legacy as an expert in gaming law and as a humanitarian and champion for gender equality in the industry.

GGW’s 13th Annual Kick Up Your Heels, Oct 11 from 5-7 p.m. at Wynn Resorts’ XS Nightclub, raises funds for the organization’s charitable education fund. Kick up Your Heels helps support scholarships and other development offerings for professional women in the gaming industry and celebrates honorees of the Patty Becker Pay It Forward award. GGW will host the in-person Sip & Social Oct. 12, with keynote speaker Sandra Douglass Morgan, president of the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League for a fireside chat about her journey to becoming the first black female team president in the NFL.

The event will also celebrate the honorees of CDC Gaming Report’s “10 Women Rising in Gaming Under 40” in partnership with Global Gaming Women.

GGW also will participate in a series of educational panels during G2E at the Venetian Expo:

GGW’s members number more than 7,000 professional women in all US states and over 30 countries, with representatives in commercial, tribal, suppliers, lottery, tourism, and digital.
