Merkur Bets Goes Live on EveryMatrix Across 1,000+ Danish Terminals

Denmark.- 9 October 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com Merkur Bets has launched its new omnichannel infrastructure in Denmark using EveryMatrix’s turnkey platform technology.

The migration brings retail operations, online sportsbook and online casino together within a single technology ecosystem and represents the first of several planned European launches between the two companies.

More Than 1,000 Terminals

EveryMatrix technology now powers more than 1,000 sports betting terminals across more than 230 retail locations in Denmark.

The integration connects the land-based estate with digital channels through the same underlying platform.

Sportsbook and Online Casino

Alongside retail, EveryMatrix is providing Merkur Bets with its online sportsbook platform.

The company has also added an online casino proposition, expanding the brand’s digital footprint within the Danish market.

From Cashpoint to Merkur Bets

The launch follows the recent rebranding of Cashpoint as Merkur Bets.

The name change is designed to strengthen Merkur Group’s common identity and align its European operations more closely.

Complex Migration

The launch followed a significant technology migration and integration process.

The project required coordination across retail terminals, accounts, sportsbook, casino and multiple operational systems while maintaining continuity of service.

One Technology Platform

A key objective of the partnership is to reduce technology fragmentation.

EveryMatrix will allow Merkur Group to use common infrastructure across multiple brands and jurisdictions.

This can create synergies across areas including:

  • Product.
  • Operations.
  • Compliance.
  • Integrations.
  • Technology development.
  • Content management.

Denmark as the First Market

The Danish launch is the first step in a wider multi-territory strategy.

Merkur operations in Austria, Germany and Belgium are also expected to migrate progressively onto EveryMatrix turnkey technology.

Belgium Already in the Pipeline

EveryMatrix has also agreed a partnership with Merkur-owned Betcenter to power its sports platform in Belgium.

The Belgian operation combines an online sportsbook with more than 50 retail betting shops and hundreds of self-service terminals.

EveryMatrix Expands in Denmark

The agreement also strengthens EveryMatrix’s presence in Denmark.

During 2026, the supplier was also selected by Danske Spil to provide casino and bingo platform technology.

Omnichannel Strategy

EveryMatrix sees the project as evidence of its ability to support operators combining physical and digital channels.

For Merkur, the aim is to create a more integrated customer experience without maintaining separate systems for each channel.

Next Steps or Impact

The Danish launch marks the beginning of a broader technology migration across Merkur Group.

Austria, Germany and Belgium will follow as part of the planned rollout, with the objective of consolidating multiple national operations onto a common platform.

The project reinforces the wider European trend towards centralised technology models capable of connecting retail betting, sportsbook and online casino.
