CAOLAB and ALEARA Agree on 6.5% Salary Increase for Buenos Aires Lottery Agents

Raise will be applied between August and October 2025 and incorporated into base salaries in 2026

Argentina.- August 28 2025 www.zonadeazar.com The Chamber of Official Lottery Agents of Buenos Aires (CAOLAB) and the Union of Gambling, Entertainment, Recreation and Related Workers of Argentina (ALEARA) announced a 6.5% wage increase for lottery agents in the province of Buenos Aires, corresponding to the Second Stage of 2025.

Breakdown of the salary increase

The salary adjustment will be distributed as follows:

  • 3% in August

  • 2% in September

  • 1.5% in October

These increases will be considered Non-Remunerative until incorporated into the base salaries of each category between December 2025 and February 2026.

Impact on bonuses and benefits

The agreed amounts will be included in the calculation of CCT bonuses (attendance, cash shortfall, and seniority), as well as in the payment of national holidays, Gambling Workers’ Day, annual bonuses, vacation, and severance packages.

Employer contribution and upcoming negotiations

During the validity of the non-remunerative increases (August–October 2025), employers will be required to pay a fixed employer contribution of ARS 6,585 per worker.

Both entities also confirmed that in October 2025 they will begin negotiations for the third stage of the 2025 wage agreement, to be applied to November salaries once the September inflation rate is published.
